Meet Our Acupuncturist:
Peter Liebenthal has been exposed to acupuncture since childhood, as his grandmother was the first famous acupuncturist in Argentina. Since starting a daily Qi Gong routine at age 19, he has been fascinated with Qi (life-energy). This fascination, combined with a strong desire to help people, led him to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. His never-ending thirst for knowledge has led him to train extensively outside of school. He has apprenticed with master acupuncturists in China and Boston, and spent 3 months studying Chinese herbs in a hospital in Taiwan. He has also studied with several Qi Gong masters in China and California.
Peter is comfortable using Chinese, Taiwanese, Five Element and Japanese style acupuncture and will tailor his treatment for each individual. He mainly uses a Japanese style of acupuncture that integrates traditional Asian theory with modern Western Medical knowledge. With this highly effective style, he finds painful points on the body and then instantly releases them with corresponding distal points.
Peter is a general practitioner and has experience treating a wide range of conditions such as pain, internal medicine, gynecology, infertility, allergies, stress, autoimmune disorders and emotional imbalances.
Peter feels lucky to have discovered this 4,000-year old holistic medicine and truly loves and appreciates the opportunity to help patients on their path towards healing and well-being. He will do whatever he can to assist them in this process, which may include herbal prescriptions, qi gong exercises as well as dietary and lifestyle advice. He is excited to be a part of the Skyline Wellness Center and serve the surrounding community.

Heather Caisse, Massage Therapist
Heather M. Caisse holds a degree in Massage Therapy from Hesser College in Salem, New Hampshire specializing in deep tissue, neuromuscular and sports massage. Heather graduated at the top of her class and upon graduation immediately started her own business and began working in her new profession.
Heather will change her approach to the client's needs and preferences -- from deep pressure to gentle work; from specific pain relief to general relaxation. Heather’s passion for Massage Therapy began at a young age where she received Massage Therapy while being a burn patient at the Shriner’s Burn Institute in Boston, MA. As she grew older, she knew that she wanted to help people as other’s had helped her during her childhood. “Working in the massage field has brought me more satisfaction than I had ever dreamed. My job is to make people feel better. Some of my clients come to me in severe pain and I am able to help them. It doesn't get better than that!”
